pop quiz.

you caught your older brother (or sister, cousin, peer, whomever) who's always down with what's happening in and around the streets with brand new nokias which apparently he (or she) flew in magically from somewhere.

"these babies got past customs with no trouble at all," he (or she) proudly beams. "do you know some buddies interested in buying new cell phones? cheaper through me!"

you quickly come up with a list of names in your head, but being the straight-edged, God-fearing kid that you are, you shun the temptation away.

"come on, we split anything i get 60-40! and if business is good, heck ill even throw in a phone for you. whaddayasay? it'll be like the old times! remember how i stole basketball cards from that prick down the block and have you sell them to your friends? good times, right?"

oh crap. so you werent all that, either.

but that was then, you rationalize. youre trying to make amends and make everything right, right?

oh ho ho. a new, smuggled, and absolutely free nokia cant be all that bad either.

but just what would your parents say, let alone do when they find out their "perfect" son is once again in cahoots with that accident they spawned first in the back of a pick-up truck back in '79?

tough, eh? so, what do you do? WHAT DO YOU DO?!?!!!

a) get in the deal. money + new phone. i dont see anything wrong with that. screw mom and dad and everything they taught me.

b) turn your brother in, then get the phones back to customs. giveth backeth to whom it was stoleth. apologize to your mom and dad, and deal with the consequences like a man (or a woman).

OR

c) turn your brother in and destroy all the phones, so when HE squeals on you, you can say "what phones?"

    d) kebs. not get involved in the deal. not turn the person in. not tell mom and dad. but at least try to talk some sense into the person and tell him/her: "bad yan. tsk tsk. don't do that." then walk away. simple. and direct to the point. haha!

happy birthday too. i hope we met. we could have been friends. and your brothers didn't disappoint. that's for sure. =) top
