i finally have a copy of spoon's taong lobo. okay, so its an mp3, shoot me.

ive been in every possible record store looking for spoon's album for almost six years, and it seems they didnt release any. i think they had an ep out, but again, that was six years ago (and for an indie recording, the quality's mighty good); getting a copy is next to impossible. but if someone does have one up for sale, id gladly spend for it (kahit wala akong pera, gagawan ko ng paraan), and i promise to delete the mp3 from my hard drive. swear.

i remember how i stood guard over my radio, with my finger on the record button all day, waiting for nu to play the track for me to catch on cassette (panahon pa nina tabitha, roxy, jaedee, ron t at ng z rock 50 na "airs every sunday, 1pm to 5pm"). haha. silly boy.

grabe. nostalgia. all the bands from that era (96-99, as if pagkatagal-tagal na nun): caroline spine, zebrahead, jimmy's chicken shack, placebo, live, finger eleven (back when they still rocked), elektrikoolaid, razorback, the breed, battery, skychurch, etc. slipknot debuts (wait and bleed), so do chico science (soopafly!), greyhoundz (pigface!), slapshock (evil clown!), and cheese (fine!). back when i shooed away music that didnt have jarring guitar riffs, fiendish growls, or crashing cymbals. ingay nung panahon na yun, haha.

and of course, spoon. whatever happened to them? if anyone reading this knows, info naman dyen! sayang, mabangis tong bandang to. reminds me of old school wolfgang.
